Unique design but EXTREMELY POOR FIT

It was love at first sight and hate after the fitting. So sad because this maxi idress is fashion forward - great pattern, unique design with enough sophisticatication to wear at semi-formal functions. Once I tried it on, the love ended. This dress was cut on a mannequin whose tush is as flat as her backside. I'm 5'3 & 130lbs curvy frame and sizes small and medium fitted too snuggly over my hips. To make matters worse the slit is cut much too high. I didn't even need to sit to flash the world.
Who can wear this dress: Sewiggy: a person with a twig figure who has great sewing skills . Women with hips keep walking.

Pretty picture, but not fit!

This dress is lovely in the photo, but for my size 10 curvy figure, it does not work. It was too tight in the hip area and just hung wrong, I would need to belt it to make it look better to define my waist. Plus I also found that the slit area in front was sewn poorly and bunched up some. Not what I expected, going back.
